  1. Brandi, these look great. My fig trees were loaded last summer and I dried lots of them. I will have to try this recipe.

    Also I soak and the dehydrate my nuts so they are ready to go in recipes like this that don’t want soaked nuts.

  2. Joan, you are not wrong. It is a good idea to soak your nuts. I soak my nuts depending on what I am making. If I am making cookies, then I don’t soak them, otherwise the cookies become too wet.

  3. I have a question..do you NOT soak your sunflower seeds and walnuts for this recipe? I was under the impression that all RAW nuts and seeds should be soaked first before consuming..am I wrong?
