Moisturizing RAW Avocado Hair Mask (Easy DIY Recipe)

This mask is wonderful! My scalp tends to run dry and this natural moisturizer works wonders to condition my hair and scalp.

Simply apply the mask before you wash your hair, leave it in for at least 20 minutes, and rinse it out with water. Then follow your regular hair washing routine.

Moisturizing Avocado Hair Mask

  • Yield: about 1-2 cups (depends on size of avocado)
  • Cost: $1.50-2.00
  • Prep: 5 mins

Ingredients

1 very large ripe avocado
1 tbsp honey
3-4 tbsp aloe vera gel or juice

Equipment

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into your blender, and blend until creamy.
  2. Simply apply to your hair and leave for at least 20 minutes. I have kept this mask in my hair for 1-3 hours and it always turns out lovely.

    I am going to try the hair mask, thank you!! I have alopecia, I was told that my hair may not grow back because the follicle may be damaged, this info is from someone who does hair and learned to study the scalp, I also have a thyroid challenge as well so we will see but I am working on my scalp trying scalp massage with Jamaica black castor oil, tks again
