I have a quick tip to increase the level of creaminess in your almond milk!
Drum roll please…..
Add in Brazil Nuts!
Here are some of the health benefits of Brazil Nuts:
Here’s the Almond + Brazil Nut Milk Recipe 🙂
- Soak 1 cup of raw almonds and 1/2 cup of raw Brazil nuts in 3 cups of water for 8-24 hours. There is no need to soak the nuts separately.
- Drain the nuts and add them to a clean blender. Next add 4.5 cups of fresh water to the blender. Blend for 30 seconds or more. You want the mixture to be super pulpy.
- Strain the pulpy mixture through a nut bag, cheese cloth, or juicer.
- That’s it! I personally like to add a few drops of liquid stevia, but that’s optional.
This recipe yields 5 cups of creamy Almond+Brazil nut milk. YUM!
