Say hello to the almighty, winter rutabaga!
This spicy root veggie is great for weight loss, high in vitamin C, and will keep things moving (if you know what I mean)!
I just happen to have a few of these goodies in the fridge while I was juicing green apples and wheatgrass. And on an impulse, I decided to add one to the juice to see what it would take like.
Well, let’s just say that I was pleasantly surprised. It was a great combination of spicy, sweet, slightly sour, and flavor! Here’s the recipe:
Green apples and rutabagas
3 green apples
1 large handful of wheatgrass or dark leafy green (e.g. kale)
Juice all! And here’s a picture of the juice…so pretty!
